Rudy Gonzales, Jr.

Rudy has practiced personal injury law for over 43 years and has been Board Certified in Personal Injury Law since 1998. Rudy has tried over 50 cases to a jury and has an outstanding track record in obtaining successful jury verdicts for his clients.

Rudy started his trial lawyer career as a defense lawyer and owner of his own defense law firm with offices in Corpus Christi and San Antonio. Having built one of the first Hispanic owned defense firms in South Texas, he devoted his trial expertise to defending corporate clients, most of whom were insured by very large insurance companies.

Now, Rudy is devoted 100% to representing those clients who have been injured or killed by the negligence of companies and individuals represented and defended by some of those same insurance companies. No one knows better how to deal with these companies because Rudy represented those same type of clients for 25 years. Rudy Gonzales received his BA from the University of Texas in 1975. He then served as an officer in the United States Navy from 1975-1979. After his service in the Navy, Rudy attended the University of Texas School of Law, graduating in 1981. Rudy is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and has been named a Texas Super Lawyer for 18 years.
